Everyone has their origin story. For me, Age of Simgar was mine. Soulblight gravelords was my first army, where I fell in love with the dark and mysterious vibes. Quickly my love for AOS grew to include a full Gloomspite Gitz Army, which has now overtaken my Soulblight. With the release of the new saturnine box, I felt it was the perfect time to dive right into Horus Heresy. Imperial fists and Night lords jumped from the pages and called to me. I was taught (by Max) to pick an army that you can see yourself playing with for the next 5 years - rules change, models stay. Imperial fists and Night lords are just that. It’s just an added plus that they’re also a force to be reckoned with on the table
