The Voxcaster was born out of three friends, countless hours at the hobby desk, and the kind of conversations that usually happen between dice rolls and half-painted minis. We figured if we were already ranting, laughing, and theory-crafting about Warhammer together, we might as well hit “record” and share it with the wider community.
At its core, The Voxcaster is a Warhammer podcast about passion, perspective, and the joy (and occasional chaos) of being apart of this hobby. We talk about what’s going right in the Warhammer world, what’s not hitting the mark, and the trends and concerns shaping the game and community. But we don’t stop at the big-picture takes - you’ll also hear us chat about what we’re building, painting, or totally procrastinating on.
This is not just rules talk or list breakdowns (though those creep in too). It’s about the hobby as a living, breathing culture: the excitement of a new release, the heartbreak of a bad codex, the endless backlog we all pretend we’ll one day finish, and the sheer fun of connecting with people who love the same universe.
What makes The Voxcaster different? We’re not trying to be “experts” or the final word on anything. We’re three hobbyists who love this community enough to celebrate it, question it, and occasionally roast it. Think of us as your mates at the gaming table - the ones who will hype your paint job, complain about stratagem bloat, and still ask if you want to squeeze in one more game before parking up or taking it over to Space Marines 2.
We’re also big believers that the Warhammer hobby is bigger than just us. That’s why we put community at the heart of the Voxcaster. We don’t just want to talk at you - we want to hear from you. Our listeners shape the conversations we have, and we love bringing hobbyists on as guests (become an Allied Detachment) to share their stories, their armies, their hot takes, and their wins (and losses) on the tabletop. If you’re part of the warhammer community, you’re part of the show.
